Superhero for Hope 8th Annual Run/Walk 5K
The Superhero for Hope 8th Annual Run/Walk 5K is presented by the Medical Society of Delaware and takes place on October 10, 2026, at Rockford Park in Wilmington, Delaware. The event is organized to support the MSD Campaign for Kids, an initiative focused on seven issues affecting youth and families.

The Campaign for Kids program funds counseling, school programs, and other resources that address Obesity, Bullying, Violence, Intelligent decisions, Opioid abuse, Underage drinking, and Suicide. The 5K provides an opportunity to raise awareness and support ongoing educational presentations to teens, parents, school personnel, coaches, and health care professionals.
Course and amenities are described by the organizer. The route starts and finishes near Rockford Tower, includes one loop of the park, continues out Tower Drive to Penna Ave with a turnaround at A.I. Middle School, and returns for an additional loop around the park. The course is noted as having shaded sections. Provided amenities include unisex tee shirts, post race refreshments, and music.
Timing and results use chip timing with the MYLAPS BibTag system. Awards are given by gun time for overall and masters winners and by chip time for age groups; awards also recognize top walkers.
