The event focuses on active participation and community support, with a portion of all registration proceeds benefiting local Colorado nonprofits.
Course and Participation
The event features a single distance:
- 5 km (approximately)
The route is an open course, meaning roads are not closed to vehicle traffic. Participants are responsible for following all traffic laws and regulations. The course is marked with arrows, and volunteers are stationed along the way to provide direction. This event is open to participants of all levels, and attendees are welcome to run, walk, or jog the distance. Dogs and strollers are permitted on the course, provided participants exercise caution on city sidewalks and trails.
Event Features
The event is held rain or shine. Because there is no formal bag check, participants are encouraged to dress for the weather. Each registered participant receives a craft beer from Wild Provisions or 4 Noses Brewing Company at the finish line, or a non-alcoholic beverage for those under 21 or by preference. Participants also receive a choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag. The finish line area includes festivities such as live music, games, and partner giveaways.
