Candy Cane Runs is a holiday-themed community run held in Westminster, serving participants from Boulder and Broomfield counties. The event takes place at the Westin Hotel area and Promenade Park and features music, a race expo at the park, and family-oriented activities.

Early packet pickup is available at Runners Roost Louisville. Race day packet pickup and the race expo are located across the street from the Westin Hotel at Promenade Park. No identification or QR code is required for race day pickup. Restrooms at the hotel are requested for participant use.
Participant items and on-site features include running gloves for 5k and 10k entrants, a custom wood finisher medallion that detaches to become an ornament, and a collector ceramic mug. Additional offerings described for the event are a hot chocolate bar, a kids cookie decorating area, cookies and German-style condiments, and hidden elf tokens on the course that can be returned for prizes or gift cards. Yoga Six provides access to a free yoga session for runners using the bib chip. A post-event gathering is noted at a nearby restaurant with food, beverages, and music.
