Santa Claus Run : Louisville, Colorado
The Santa Claus Run is a winter holiday race event held in Louisville, Colorado, centered at Louisville Community Park (955 Bella Vista Drive). The event features multiple trail run distances on packed gravel and paved bike paths, an on-site race expo for packet pickup, and early packet pickup at a local running store the day before the event.
Course details provided by the organizer describe a 5k lollipop loop on a fast, flat route with tree cover and one water stop encountered twice. The 10k follows the 5k loop with an east extension of about 1.5 miles and includes one short, steep hill and additional water-stop locations. A new half marathon course is planned west of Community Park and will be released in August. A kids race is also offered.
