Event Format

This is a multi-day ultra-running challenge along the West Highland Way in Scotland. It is a small-group journey where participants run to a different overnight stop each day.

The Route

The route covers the entire West Highland Way trail from Milngavie to Fort William over three days. Day 1 covers approximately 54 km from Milngavie to Inversnaid. Day 2 covers approximately 42 km from Inversnaid to Bridge of Orchy. Day 3 covers approximately 58 km from Bridge of Orchy to Fort William. The journey passes landmarks including Conic Hill, Loch Lomond, the Inversnaid waterfall, Beinn Dorain, Buachaille Etive Mor, Glen Coe, and the Devil’s Staircase—the highest point of the trail at 550m.

Logistics

Transport for overnight bags is included in the price. Accommodation is provided each night at different locations, including a bunkhouse and an old prison in Fort William. The event begins in Milngavie, near Glasgow. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
