Wild Hybrid Edinburgh - Dalkeith Country Park Solos
The event is scheduled for 22 August 2026 at Dalkeith Country Park, Melville Gate Road, Dalkeith, EH22 1RU. The park is a privately owned 1000-acre estate. The event area is outside the Palace, with running on paths and trails through woodland within the estate. The location is just off the Edinburgh Bypass at the top of the A68.
There are several entry options and published prices for this event:
- 5 km ruck run with required pack weight
- 10 km ruck run with required pack weight
- Solo entry option
Ruck run competitors must carry a weighted pack. Pack weights specified in the event information are 10 kg for men and 7 kg for women. Competitors must provide their own pack; packs will be weighed at registration.
Timing at the event is provided by live chip timing supplied by Timing Up North. Start times are communicated to competitors by email before the event. All finishers receive event merchandise and products from sponsors. Prizes are awarded for first to third positions in each category. Parking is available at the venue for a fee of £4.00.
