Hot Chocolate 5K & 10K - Edinburgh
This event is a pair of community road races organised by Blast Running at Gypsy Brae Recreation Ground, Edinburgh (postcode EH5 1QD). Runners follow a route that includes the promenade and receive a cup of hot chocolate at the finish. The event is licensed by Scottish Athletics.
Distances and age limits:
- 5K: Ages 11+
- 10K: Ages 15+
Entry details include standard fees and reduced rates for Scottish Athletics members, with a £3 insurance levy applying to non-Scottish Athletics members and paid directly to Scottish Athletics. Youth entries (age-based) have lower fees. An optional finisher's medal is available for an additional £5. Prizes are offered for first male and first female in each age category for online entries only. Results are submitted to Run Britain Rankings.
The event supports two charities: Cancer Card and the Bowelbabe Fund.
