Hermitage Trail Runs

The Hermitage Trail Runs, held at the Hermitage of Braid and Blackford Hill, offer 10km and 5km trail races along with a 1.2km festive fun run. Scheduled for November 23, 2025, these events feature clearly marked, marshaled off-road routes that challenge runners with a single lap course starting at the Hermitage of Braid house and traversing Blackford Hill. The fun run encourages festive spirit with elf hats provided to children and festive attire welcomed.

Proceeds from the fun run support local charities including Friends of the Hermitage and Braid and Morningside Primary School. Participants receive a post-race snack, drink, and a race memento. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
