Logistics and race features
Registration for the 5K is listed at a price range of $33 to $42; the kids run is free. The course uses the Lake Baldwin Park trail, which is a flat concrete trail that is mostly shaded. The race is timed and scored using a disposable chip attached to the back of the bib. Parking is available throughout Baldwin Park on neighboring streets and in parking garages. Dogs and strollers are permitted; participants who bring dogs, strollers, or children are asked to line up toward the back of the field. T-shirt orders for the premium registration level must be placed two weeks in advance, and a limited number of medals are available. Awards and recognition are given to top finishers.
