ORL 5K on the Runway
The ORL 5K on the Runway at Orlando Executive Airport takes place on April 4, 2026, in Orlando, FL. The event is held on an airport runway and includes in-person and virtual options plus a short youth race.

Proceeds from the event benefit three aviation organizations. Angel Flight Southeast provides free flights for children and adults who must travel long distances for critical medical care, supported by volunteer pilots and donated aircraft. Vision of Flight offers youth ages 10 to 18 flying experiences, simulator training, summer camps, and mentorship to encourage interest in aviation and STEM. The Orlando Youth Aviation Center serves Central Florida youth ages 12 to 17 with hands on classes about flight, airports, navigation, and aviation careers, with each session concluding in a flight experience.
Pre race packet pickup is scheduled at Orlando Executive Airport on the Friday before the event and on race day at the airport. Awards include trophies for master male and female runners and medals for the top three finishers in each male and female age group. Complimentary parking is available at Orlando Executive Airport. Only participants who complete registration by March 6, 2026 are guaranteed a complimentary race shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
