Wild Blossom Wine Run 5k
The Wild Blossom Wine Run 5k is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Wild Blossom Meadery & Winery in Chicago, IL. The course starts and finishes at the winery and follows a route through Dan Ryan Woods on a new flat course with no hills. The finish area includes a wine pour and a post-race gathering at the winery.
Registration for the event includes a soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and online posted results. Free race photos will be available for download. Packet pickup is available on race day beginning one hour before scheduled race waves.
The event offers age group awards for the top three male and female finishers in each decade category. Categories cover ages from 1-9 through 80 and over. Age group awards must be collected on the day of the event; winners should consult posted results and pick up awards at the registration table. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards.
Logistics notes include parking in the forest preserve west of the winery at Dan Ryan Woods 91st Street and additional public parking at the Beverly Hills 91st Metra Station when lots reach capacity. Dogs are not allowed on site. A virtual participation option is available; packets can be picked up or shipped for an additional charge.
