Wild Blossom Wine Run 5k - Chicago
The Wild Blossom Wine Run 5k takes place on April 10, 2027 at Wild Blossom Meadery & Winery in Chicago (9030 S Hermitage Ave, 60620). The event is a 5k chip timed run and walk that starts and finishes at the winery and follows a route through Dan Ryan Woods. The course is described as flat with no hills.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible portable wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib, and results posted online. Participants receive a pour of wine at the finish; minors who register receive a shirt, medal, and bib but do not receive the wine glass or wine pour.
The event is open to ages 1 through 99 and offers a virtual participation option with either local packet pickup or shipment of the packet for an additional charge. The race is professionally timed by J3Timing. Top three male and female finishers in each 10 year age category receive custom age group awards, which are available for pickup at the registration table on race day.
Additional details include on site parking in the forest preserve just west of the winery at Dan Ryan Woods 91st Street, recommended public parking at the Beverly Hills 91st Metra Station when the lot fills, free race photos available for download, and a charity partnership with the Nikolas Ritschel Foundation. Dogs on leash are allowed on the course but are not permitted inside the winery building.
