Entries, race kit and policies
The standard entry fee is £14.00. The event has an entry limit of 200; at the time of this listing 103 places are taken and 97 remain. Entries close on 11th March 2026. Race numbers and individual timing chips will be allocated to all runners, with race numbers dispatched from 2nd March 2026 and participants notified by email when to expect them. Editing of entry details and transfers must be completed by 2nd January 2026. Once Run Wigan Festival races reach capacity, transfers between races will not be offered. If the event cannot go ahead, entries will be rolled over to the 2027 event; a virtual event may be offered as an alternate option and virtual participants would receive their medal by post.
