Event overview
The HW Moon Toyota Wigan 5 km takes place on 15th March 2026 in Mesnes Park, Wigan, Lancashire (WN1 1TU). The race is part of the 2026 Run Wigan Festival and is a UK Affiliated event. All participants will be allocated a race number and an individual timing chip.
Entries and fees
Entry types and prices are:
- 5 km adult: £17.00
- 5 km junior (11-16): £15.00
The event has an entry limit of 1,000. At the time shown, 228 entries had been received and 772 places remained. General entries close on 11th March 2026. Editing details and transferring entries is available until 2nd January 2026. Once the Run Wigan Festival races reach capacity, transfers between races cannot be offered.
Logistics and policies
Race numbers and timing chips will start to be posted from 2nd March 2026; participants will be notified by email about when to expect them. The event’s chosen and organising charity is Joining Jack. Registration fees are directed to Joining Jack; refunds are not offered. If the event cannot go ahead, entries will be rolled over to the 2027 event. If a virtual event is offered as an alternative, participants taking part virtually will receive their medal by post. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
