Event overview
The HW Moon Toyota Wigan 5k is a UK Affiliated road race held as part of the Run Wigan Festival in Mesnes Park, Wigan, Lancashire (WN1 1TU). The event uses individual timing chips and allocates a race number to each entrant. Race numbers will be posted to participants beginning on 2 March 2026.
Entry and policies
Entry fee for the Wigan 5k is £14.00. The event has an entry limit of 200. At the time of publication there are 181 entries and 19 remaining places. Entries close on 11 March 2026.
If the event cannot take place, all entries will be rolled over to the 2027 event. A virtual option may be offered and virtual participants would receive their medal by post. Registration fees are passed to the organising charity, Joining Jack, and refunds are not available. Editing of entrant details and transfers between entries is permitted until 2 January 2026, subject to capacity restrictions within the Run Wigan Festival.
