Widdop Fell Race

The Widdop Fell Race, organized by Calder Valley Fell Runners, is a classic high moorland event held near Widdop, starting from the Pack Horse Inn. The course covers approximately 7 miles (11.3 km) with an ascent of 1,200 feet (366 meters), featuring good paths mixed with tussocks and chest-high bracken. The route is fully marked but can be challenging in misty conditions.
