Lee Mill Relay : 29 November 2026
The Lee Mill Relay is a team relay event held at the Lee Mill Quarry site in Rossendale, Lancashire. It is scheduled for 29 November 2026. Teams of four runners compete, with each runner completing an individual flagged course of 10.7 km (approximately 6.6 miles) with about 340 m of climb. The venue grid reference is SD866211. Minimum age for competitors is 18. The event has a permit and associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA.
Entry, limits and equipment
Pre-entry is available with an entry fee of £28.00 per team. Entries open 1 December 2025 and close 26 November 2026. The field is limited to 120 teams with a wait list; entries on the day may be accepted if the limit is not reached. Clubs may enter teams and do not have to name individual runners until nearer the race date. A course map is provided on registering.
Organisers describe the route as hard and potentially wintery. Competitors must carry full kit including full waterproof bodycover, hat, gloves, compass and whistle.
