Lee Mill Relays
The Lee Mill Relays is an annual team relay held at the Lee Mill Quarry site in Rossendale, Lancashire. In its 8th year, the event is organised for teams of four runners. Each team member runs individually over a flagged course of 10.7 km.
Teams may be entered as men, ladies or mixed. Clubs may enter teams without naming individual runners until closer to the event. Entry is by pre entry with a published entry window. The entry fee is £28 per team. Entries are limited to 120 teams and a wait list is maintained; entries on the day may be accepted if the limit is not reached.
Organisers describe the route as hard and demanding and note that it may be run in wintery conditions. Competitors must carry full kit including full waterproof bodycover, hat, gloves, compass and whistle. Stringent kit checks will be made. A map of the course is provided on registration.
