Lee Mill Relays
The Lee Mill Relays is in its eighth year and takes place at the Lee Mill Quarry site in Rossendale, Lancashire, with assembly from Stubbylee Hall. The event is scheduled for 29 November 2026.
The format is a team relay for teams of four. All four team members run individually over a flagged course of 10.7k. The route is described as hard and demanding and may be run in wintery conditions; organisers note the associated risks.
Teams may be men, ladies or mixed. Clubs may enter teams and do not have to name individual runners until nearer the race date. Entry is listed at £28 per team. There is a limit of 120 teams with a wait list; entries on the day will be taken only if the limit has not been reached. Entries open on 1 December 2025 and close on 26 November 2026.
Competitors must carry full kit. Required items include a full waterproof bodycover, hat, gloves, compass and whistle. Stringent kit checks will be carried out. A map of the course is provided on registering. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
