Lee Mill Relays
This is a team relay held at the Lee Mill Quarry site near Rossendale, Lancashire, with racing based at Stubbylee Hall OL13 0DE. Teams consist of four runners and each runner completes an individual flagged loop of 10.7k.
The route is described as hard and demanding and may be run in wintery conditions. Competitors must carry full kit including a full waterproof bodycover, hat, gloves, compass and whistle. Organisers will perform a stringent kit check for all competitors. A map of the course is provided on registering.
Clubs may enter teams without naming individual runners until nearer the race date. There is an entry fee of £28 per team. Entries are limited to 120 teams with a wait list available once the limit is reached. Entries on the day may be accepted if the team limit has not been reached.
The event provides a flagged course and course information to registered competitors. The format is teams of four with categories for men, ladies and mixed teams.
