About the race
Lee Mill Relays is the eighth running of a team relay set in the Lee Mill Quarry site in Rossendale, Lancashire. The event is for teams of four, with each team member running individually over a flagged course of 10.7k.
The route is described as hard and demanding and may be run in wintery conditions. Full kit must be carried, including full waterproof bodycover, hat, gloves, compass and whistle. Stringent kit checks will be made. A map of the course is provided on registering.
Clubs may enter teams and do not have to declare the individual runners until nearer the race date. Entry is charged per team at £28. The event has a limit of 120 teams with a wait list, and entries on the day will be taken if the limit is not reached.
