Lee Mill Relays
The Lee Mill Relays is a team relay held on the Lee Mill Quarry site in Rossendale, Lancashire, based at Stubbylee Hall OL13 0DE. The event is for teams of four runners. All four team members run individually over a flagged course measuring 10.7 km.
The course is described as hard and demanding and may be affected by winter conditions. Competitors are required to carry full kit including full waterproof bodycover, hat, gloves, compass and whistle. Organisers will perform stringent kit checks. A map of the course is provided when registering.
Teams may be men, ladies or mixed. Clubs may enter teams without declaring the individual runners until nearer the race date. Entry is charged per team at £28. There is a limit of 120 teams with a waiting list once that limit is reached. Entries on the day may be accepted only if the team limit has not been reached. Entries open on 1 December 2025 and close on 26 November 2026.
The route is flagged for navigation and all team members complete the same individual lap distance. The setting and the kit requirements reflect the organisers' attention to safety and preparedness for variable weather and terrain conditions.
