The Wicked Wine Run takes place on April 11, 2026, at Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center, San Diego, California. The event offers two course options:

- 5K
The site is a historic farm property that dates back to 1921 and has been family-run for multiple generations. The event includes an after party, music, food trucks, games, and dance and costume contests. There is also a spectator tasting-only ticket option.
Logistics and what is included
1K ticket holders receive three 1 oz wine tastings along the course, a fourth tasting at the finish in a personal wine glass, an event bib, an event shirt, and access to the after party. 5K ticket holders receive a wine glass filled at the finish, an event bib, an event shirt, a finisher medal for 2026, and access to the after party. The 5K will have two water stations on course plus a water station at the finish. The 1K includes three sampling stations along the route and a fourth at the finish. The 5K is allotted 90 minutes for completion.
Packet pickup details and parking specifics will be posted closer to the event. Parking at the venue may cost up to $20 and a pre-purchased digital parking pass is available. Race packet delivery is available for a fee until two weeks before the event. All participants and spectators must be 21 and will undergo age verification.
