Lunatic Loop 6 & 12 Hour
The Lunatic Loop is a timed trail event offering 6 hour and 12 hour race options on a looped singletrack course near Ramona, California. Each lap measures about 1.5 miles and includes more than 300 feet of climbing. The route winds through boulder fields, sage brush, and the remnants of an avocado orchard, and runners pass a single well stocked aid station on completion of each lap.
This edition is organized by San Diego Ultra Running Friends and is hosted on private property; access is limited to event participants with permission. Entry is restricted to active SURF members. Prospective entrants must RSVP via the provided form and then register by invitation on UltraSignup. Registration is open through December 8 while spots remain available. There are only 50 entry spots; RSVPs beyond that number are placed on a waitlist. The listed price is $XX.XX. No refunds, transfers, or deferrals are allowed.
On race day, participants pick up their bib and parking volunteers will assist with parking near the start area. Food will be available during the event, including hot and cold options and some vegetarian and gluten free choices; participants with special dietary needs are advised to bring their own items.
