The San Diego 50 & Trail Runs take place on January 10, 2026 at the San Pasqual Valley Staging Area, 18192 Bandy Canyon Rd, Escondido, CA. The event is part of the Elevation Culture Race Series. Multiple trail distances and formats are offered, including a 50-mile race, a full trail marathon, relay option, a heavy half marathon, a 10-mile Summit Chase, a valley 5-mile, a stroller 5k, and a youth 1-mile. Logistics and race services
This is a cupless event; participants must bring a personal hydration vessel. Aid stations provide water, electrolyte drinks, GU, Blocks, and snack items; 50-mile stations include heavier food such as wraps and fruit. The 50-mile distance has a 14-hour cutoff and allows one pacer for the final 7 miles starting at the Raptor Ridge aid station #4. Drop bags are allowed only for 50-mile runners and must be collected at the finish. Packet pick-up is available before race weekend at Milestone Running Store (North Park) and at the start/finish on race day. Finishers receive a tri-blend shirt, a wooden medal, and a reusable silicone cup; the Summit Chase 10M summit receives a summit coin. Awards are given 1st-3rd male/female per distance and age group awards; there are no awards for the Stroller 5k. Free race day photos are provided.
