Event overview
‘A Charlie Brown Christmas 5K/10K’ is scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 2026, at Kit Carson Park in Escondido, CA (3333 Bear Valley Pkwy). The event offers multiple participation options, including:

- Snoopy Dash (untimed, ages 1–12)
- At-Home Virtual Edition
Registration is limited to 2,500 participants. The event is an officially licensed Peanuts® event and includes themed race swag.
Course and logistics
The routes use sidewalk and trail surfaces; the 10K is a double loop of the 5K. Rolling hills are present, especially between miles 1 and 2 on the trail, and running or trail shoes are recommended. Parking is available at the park and the adjacent mall, with accessible parking provided. Start and finish take place under an inflatable arch in the north staging area.
Mile markers are posted at each mile. Water is provided at mile 2 and near the start/finish. A medic will be on site at the start/finish and near the mile 2 water stop. There is no event-day gear check. Photographers will post free event photos within about a week.
Entries, packet pickup and rules
Packet pickup occurs at Road Runner Sports (Thursday, December 17) and Dick’s Sporting Goods (Friday, December 18). All 5K/10K bibs include an RFID tag for course tracking. Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Awards are given by overall and age-group categories. Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed; participants must stay to the right on the course.
