A Charlie Brown Christmas 5K/10K : San Diego, CA
The event is a holiday-themed set of running and walking events at Kit Carson Park in Escondido, California on December 19, 2026. It includes a timed 5K and 10K, an untimed Snoopy Kids Dash for children 12 and under, and a virtual at-home edition.
All participants receive an officially licensed Peanuts finisher medal, a participant bib and a performance blend t-shirt. All 5K and 10K bibs include an RFID tag on the back for on-course tracking. The event is limited to the first 2,500 registrants.
The courses use park sidewalks and trails. Rolling hills are present, especially between miles 1 and 2 on the trail, and running or trail shoes are recommended. The 10K follows a double loop of the 5K course. Mile markers are placed at each mile. Water is available at mile 2 and near the start/finish. A medic will be on-site in the start/finish area and at the mile 2 water stop.
Packet pickup is provided at local retail partners on the days before the event. Parking is available at the park and at the adjacent mall, including accessible parking. There is no event day gear check. Photographers will provide free race photos that are posted after the event.
