Dixon Lake : event overview
The Dixon Lake 10/10 Trail Race is scheduled for December 13, 2025, at El Caballo Park, 3450 E. Valley Parkway, Escondido, CA. The event takes place on trails at Daley Ranch.
The event is limited to a maximum of 300 runners. It is an ERS Championship qualifier for all distances. There is no kids dash at this event due to the nature of the trails.
Courses and logistics
The event offers the following distances:
- 10 Mile
- 10K
- 5K
The 10 Mile course includes a climb to the top of Stanley Peak. Course surfaces include single track and dirt service road. Elevation gain varies by course; published figures range roughly from 694 feet up to 1,775 feet depending on distance.
Main parking is at the trail head parking lots, with overflow parking about 1/4 mile away (about a 5 minute walk). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
