Event Overview
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at the E2 Family Winery in Lodi, near Sacramento. This historic venue features a vineyard with roots dating back to 1835, currently producing a variety of wines including Zinfandel and Portuguese Verdelho. The event is strictly for participants and spectators aged 21 and older, with age verification required for all attendees.
Participants can choose from various registration options, including participation in single events or a combination of both distances. The event schedule includes the Wicked Wine Run on Saturday and a Brunch Run on Sunday.
Course and Distances
The event offers two primary distances:
- 5 km run or walk
- 1 km tasting walk
The 5 km course includes two water stations and waves starting every few minutes based on pace. Participants receive a finisher medal and a glass of wine or a mimosa at the finish line. The 1 km tasting walk is a casual stroll featuring three sampling stations along the route, with a final tasting provided at the finish.
Amenities and Activities
Registration for all events includes an event shirt, a souvenir glass, and a race bib. The venue hosts an after-party featuring food trucks, music, games, dance contests, and costume contests. Additional wine is available for purchase on-site.
Attendees may pick up race packets on the day of the event for a fee, at a pre-race packet pickup, or via mail for an additional charge. Parking is available at the winery for a fee.
