Taco The Town 5K & 10K
Taco The Town is an in-person running event on September 5, 2026 at Baxter Park in Stockton, California. The event uses a semi-closed course in North Stockton and offers timing chips for runners who want recorded times. This is the fifth annual edition.
Distances and formats include:
- 5K, 3.1 miles
- 10K, 6.2 miles
- Taquito 1K for age 12 and under, 0.62 miles
- Run-And-Chug four-person relay with quarter-mile legs Other participation options include a non-runner event ticket.
Finishers in the 5K and 10K receive a finisher medal, a shirt, a souvenir beer tasting glass, and access to free tacos and beer provided by on-site vendors. Taquito 1K participants receive a medal and a bib and access to the free tacos; shirts are optional add-ons. The non-runner ticket does not include free tacos or a medal. Entry fees listed for some events are $30 for the 5K and 10K and $10 for the Taquito 1K.
