Taco The Town 5K & 10K, Stockton, CA
Taco The Town is an in-person running event on September 5, 2026, held at The Factory Institute of Training, 654 Grider Way, in North Stockton. The event uses a closed course and offers timing chips for participants who want recorded times. A virtual option is also available.

- 10K (6.2 miles)
Finishers in the 5K receive a 3" finisher medal; 10K finishers receive a special 4" 10K medal. The 5K and 10K entries include a shirt and a souvenir beer tasting glass. Finishers of those distances also receive free tacos from event trucks and beer samples from local breweries. Taquito 1K participants receive a bib and access to the free tacos but do not receive a medal or shirt. A non-runner event ticket is available; it does not include free tacos or a medal.
A portion of the event proceeds goes to Family Promise of San Joaquin to support efforts addressing homelessness in Stockton. Listed registration fees are $30 for the 5K and 10K, $10 for the Taquito 1K, and a free non-runner ticket. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
