Celebrate Valentine weekend at the Wichita Sweetheart Run 5K and 10K at Sedgwick County Park on February 15, 2026, with in person and virtual options. Both distances offer age group and overall awards, every finisher gets a medal and shirts are available.

Event

The Wichita Sweetheart Run 5K and 10K takes place on February 15, 2026, at Sedgwick County Park in Wichita, KS (6501 W 21st St N). The event offers the following distances:

5K
10K
Virtual 5K
Virtual 10K

Age group and overall awards are presented for both the 5K and 10K. The 5K also has male, female, and coed two-person team awards for top overall finishers. All participants receive a finisher's medal. A long sleeve race shirt is available for an additional fee of $8.

Registration and logistics

Standard on-site packet pickup is available the day before the race at Fartlek's Running Shop and Smoothie Stop, 535 W Douglas Ave #130. Race-day packet pickup is also available at the event venue beginning at 8am. Early bird pricing applies; some event fees increase after January 18, 2026. Listed entry fees are $29 for the 5K and $33 for the 10K. Virtual event fees are $45 for the 5K and $46 for the 10K. Virtual registration closes on February 14, 2026.
