Event details

The Wichita Sweetheart Run 5K and 10K takes place on February 15, 2026, at Sedgwick County Park, 6501 W 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67205. The event includes four options:

5K
Virtual 5K
10K
Virtual 10K

Individuals compete for age-group and overall awards in both the 5K and 10K. Male, female and coed two-person teams compete for top overall awards in the 5K. All finishers receive a finisher's medal. Participants may add a long sleeve race shirt for an additional $8.

Registration and logistics

Early registration prices are listed for each event and prices increase after December 14, 2025. Registration for the virtual events closes on February 14, 2026. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Fartlek's Running Shop and Smoothie Stop, 535 W Douglas Ave #130, and packets can also be picked up on race day at the event site.
