Say Grace Thanksgiving Day 5K
The Say Grace 5K is GraceMed’s annual Thanksgiving fundraiser held in Wichita on Thursday, November 26, 2026. The event follows a course through historic Midtown and is presented as a family-friendly community race that supports GraceMed’s work with the medically underserved. It is described as Wichita’s largest local 5K.
Participant amenities include chip timing, a race t-shirt, a finisher medal, overall and age-group awards, team awards, fruit, and water. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers ($200, $125, $75), to the top masters male and female finishers over 40 ($100 each), and to male and female course record holders ($100 each). Age-group awards are given across standard competitive brackets from 9 and under through 80 and over.
Team awards recognize largest team, best-dressed team, fastest team, and best team name; teams must have at least four members. Costume judging for themed team awards takes place at the Helen Galloway Clinic.
Registration fees are tiered: $35 before November 1, $40 from November 1 to 25, $45 on race day, and $20 for children aged 5–15. Registration options include online via RunSignUp or by mail/pick-up at local running stores. Packet pick-up is at the GraceMed Administration Building on November 24 and 25 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with morning pick-up available at the race location.
