Turkey Trails - Wichita
Turkey Trails is a Thanksgiving-themed running event held in Wichita, Kansas. The event offers a variety of distances to accommodate different participants, including:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10k (6.2 miles)
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile
- Kids Dash (50m)
The 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon options feature chip-timing with live results and awards. Participants in these categories receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The 1 Mile event is an untimed option that also provides a custom bib, shirt, and medal to those who register.
For younger participants, the Kids Dash is an untimed event designed for children aged 10 and under. Registered children receive a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specific kids' dash medal. Children are also permitted to participate in the dash for free if they do not require the event materials.
A Virtual Race option is available for those who wish to complete their run at a location of their choice while still receiving the event swag. Additionally, a volunteer-based registration option allows individuals to assist with event preparations before participating in their chosen race distance.
