Wichita State Engineering 5K
The Wichita State Engineering 5K is a 5K run/walk scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026. It is the 5th annual event, celebrating National Engineering Week.
The event is open to Wichita State University students, College of Engineering students, faculty, staff, and community members. The race course is USTAF-certified and guides participants through the WSU Innovation Campus.
Participants will receive a shirt and a special edition race medal. An awards ceremony with snacks and water will start no later than 10:30 am. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and top 3 female runners in each of these categories: WSU Students, Faculty/Staff, Community, and Alumni.
Packet pickup is available on Friday, February 27 from 5-7 pm and on race day from 7:30-8:45 am at the John Bardo Center Lobby. Proceeds from the race are donated to the College of Engineering to help students financially. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
