Empowering Women's Run in Peoria
Who Runs The World? Girls! is an athletic event held in Peoria, Illinois, dedicated exclusively to women and girls. Taking place on the Riverfront Trail outside of RC Outfitters, the event aims to unite and uplift participants of all backgrounds and ability levels through shared movement.
Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5k Run
- 1 Mile Walk
The course is located at 311 Southwest Water Street. This event also serves as a fundraising platform for the She Runs The World Scholarship, which supports local high school senior girls in their transition to higher education. The scholarship is both merit- and need-based, with funds generated through race registrations and community donations.
Packet pickup is available at RC Outfitters the day before the event as well as on the morning of the race. Following the run and walk, an awards table opens to recognize participants. Registration options include individual entries, gift registrations, and the ability to transfer existing registrations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
