Nun Run for Cancer
The Nun Run for Cancer is the 6th annual event held on May 1, 2027 in Peoria, Illinois at RC Outfitters, 311 Southwest Water Street. Proceeds benefit the OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute and support cancer care, supportive services, and local treatment access.
The event offers these participation options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk (untimed)
- Virtual Runner option, includes event t-shirt and medal
Registration fees vary by registration window and by age category, with separate pricing for participants 12 and under and for virtual entries. The 5K requires completion of the full course when entered; the 1 mile is listed as a separate walk option.
Packet pickup is scheduled at RC Outfitters the day before the event and on race day; participants may pick up packets for friends and family. Timing and scoring are provided by ShaZam Racing.
Awards are given for overall top male and top female by gun time and for age group winners by net time across standard age brackets; there is no awards ceremony and awards will be mailed after the event.
