Whittier Spooktacular 5K
The Whittier Spooktacular 5k Run/Walk is an annual community road race held at the Whittier Community Center, 7630 Washington Ave, Whittier, CA 90602. The 17th edition is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026.
Registration is offered in two periods: Regular Registration from September 1 to October 11, and Late Registration from October 12 through Race Day. Pricing is listed for individuals, students, groups, and a children's race. The event includes an early packet pick up on Friday, October 30, 2026 at the Whittier Community Center.

Event services and features include a custom finisher medal for all runners, cash prizes for top overall male and female 5K finishers, a USATF certified course, chip timing, and computerized finish results. Participants receive refreshments and goodie bags, and a T-shirt is provided though sizes are not guaranteed. A pancake breakfast is provided to registered runners with a fee for non-registered attendees. The event also includes DJs along the course and a costume contest; costumes must be family appropriate and contestants must be registered and participate in the race.
One hundred percent of Whittier Community Foundation proceeds will go toward the community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
