Whittier Spooktacular 5K at Whittier Community Center
The Whittier Spooktacular 5K is an annual community run and walk held at the Whittier Community Center in Whittier, CA. The 17th edition is scheduled for October 31, 2026. Early packet pick up is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026 at the community center.

Event services and features include a custom finisher medal for all participants, chip timing, a USATF certified course, and computerized finish line results. The event awards cash prizes to the top male and female overall 5K finishers. Registered participants receive a T-shirt with sizes not guaranteed, refreshments, and a goodie bag. A pancake breakfast is provided free to registered runners, with a small fee for non registered attendees. DJs will be present along the course and a family appropriate costume contest is held for registered participants who take part in the race.
Registration windows for 2026 are Early Bird July 2 through August 31, Regular September 1 through October 11, and Late from October 12 through Race Day. Individual and group pricing vary by registration period. One hundred percent of Whittier Community Foundation proceeds support the community.
