LA Classic Turkey Trot
The LA Classic Turkey Trot is the 3rd annual running event on November 22, 2026, held in Griffith Park, Los Angeles, with start and finish at the Shane's Inspiration area near 4800 Griffith Park Drive.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K run/walk
- 5 Miler
- 15K
Age eligibility is specified per event: the 5K is open to ages 1 to 85, the 5 Miler to ages 11 to 99, and the 15K to ages 14 to 85.
Event services and participant items listed for all runners include a custom finisher medal, a custom race bib, electronic chip timing, finish line water and snacks, music, and a free downloadable finisher certificate. A custom race shirt is available for the first 600 registrants. On-site sports massage is provided by Vision For Enrichment. Early registrant items include a turkey hat for the first 500 5K entrants and beanies for the first 100 entrants in each of the 5 Miler and 15K.
Awards include overall gift card prizes for winners and top-three age-group awards by gender in specified age categories. Team categories cover fastest times and largest team. Packet pickup is scheduled at Run With Us - Pasadena on the day before the race at 235 N. Lake Avenue; bib pickup is also available race morning and closes ten minutes before each event's start.
