Whitney's Race 2026
Whitney's Race 2026 is a community running and fundraising event held on October 24, 2026 at the Fort Smith Bakery District, 70 S 7th St, Fort Smith, AR. The event offers two official distances and options for participants to race, run, walk, or spectate.
The course follows the Arkansas River and passes several local landmarks, including the Fort Smith National Historic Site, Belle Isle Park, the Fort Smith Trolley Museum, and the United States Marshals Museum. An event village at the Bakery District includes vendors, food trucks, live music, and family activities such as obstacle courses and face painting.
The event supports pancreatic cancer work through research funding, patient assistance, and awareness programs.
