19th Annual Jim Rowland FCA River Valley Run
The event takes place on November 7, 2026 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The start and finish are set at The Bakery District in downtown Fort Smith, at 70 S 7th St. Runners for the different distances use a staggered start.
Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon
- 10k
- 5k
Registration and fees differ by distance. For the half marathon registration opens 6/1/2026 and closes 7/1/2026 with a fee of $50.00. Registration for the 10k opens 7/1/2026 and closes 7/5/2026 with a fee of $37.50. Registration for the 5k opens 7/1/2026 and closes 7/5/2026 with a fee of $27.50.
Age categories cover a wide range: 8-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-99. Awards are given to male and female competitors in each age group for first, second and third place. All participants on race day receive a finishers medal.
