About the race
The Whiteface Mountain Races, held in Wilmington, NY, offer a challenging mountain running experience with some of the greatest vertical gain and loss per mile in the U.S. The event features multiple race options including a 21K (two loops), 10K (one loop), Vert Junky combo, 4K Ascent, and a 1-mile Kids Ascent. Runners are treated to stunning views of the Adirondack Peaks while tackling tough terrain that tests both legs and lungs.
Poles are allowed for assistance. The event also includes social group runs on Sunday, providing a community atmosphere. Registration includes a race entry and a tee, with no race-day sign-ups available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
