Lake Placid Marathon and Half and 10K
The Lake Placid Marathon and Half and 10K takes place on June 14, 2026, in Lake Placid, New York. Races begin and end on Main Street at the Olympic Speedskating Oval in the village of Lake Placid.

The half marathon uses a single loop out and back course. The marathon is a double out and back on the same route. The course combines flat, rolling and hilly sections and passes mountain views, open areas, shaded sections, a class III trout stream, and Mirror Lake. Well stocked aid stations are available along the route. Each race has a six hour course limit.
Finish line services include athlete food, a finisher medal, and a 2026 race T shirt; the organizer reserves the right to change racer gifts and will provide notice of changes. The marathon entry is restricted to participants aged 16 and older on race day. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian signature in person at registration.
Entry fees include a charity component with donations planned for the Lake Placid Junior Class, an animal charity to be determined, and select global charities. Transfers and refunds are not available. Deferrals are subject to approval and require a re registration fee. Athlete gifts are not guaranteed for registrations after May 9, 2026.
