Lake Placid Marathon and Half and 10K
The race takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Lake Placid, NY (2634 Main St). The event includes the following distances:

Course and on-course services
The Half Marathon is a single out-and-back loop. The Marathon is a double out-and-back. Both races begin and end on Main Street at the Olympic Speedskating Oval. The course includes flat sections, rolling terrain, and some hills. Runners pass mountain views, open and shaded areas, a class III trout stream, and Mirror Lake. Well-stocked aid stations are available. Athlete food is provided at the finish, and finishers receive a medal and a 2026 race T-shirt. Athlete gifts are not guaranteed for registrations after May 9, 2026.
Entry, age rules and policies
Published entry fees are: Marathon $107 (includes $7 fee); Half Marathon $96.40 (includes $6.40 fee); 10K $85.80 (includes $5.80 fee). The Marathon is limited to participants aged 16 years and older on race day. Any participant under 18 must have a parent sign in person at registration. Entry fees include a charity component that supports the Lake Placid Junior Class, an animal charity to be determined, and selected global charities. Transfers and refunds are not available; deferrals are subject to approval and a re-registration fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
