The Lake Placid Marathon and Half and 10K takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Lake Placid, NY. The event includes these distances:

The race begins and ends on Main St. in the Village of Lake Placid at the Olympic Speedskating Oval. The marathon is a double out-and-back course; the half marathon is a single out-and-back.
Course and logistics
The course includes flat sections, rolling terrain, and some hills. Runners pass mountain views, open and shaded areas, a class III trout stream, and Mirror Lake. Well-stocked aid stations are available along the route. A six-hour course limit applies to each race.
Finish-line amenities include athlete food, a 2026 race T-shirt, and a finisher medal. Athlete gifts are not guaranteed for registrations after May 9, 2026. The marathon is limited to participants aged 16 years and older on race day; anyone under 18 must have a parent sign registration in person. Transfers and refunds are not available; deferrals require approval and a re-registration fee. Entry fees include a charity component supporting local and other listed charities.
