About the race
The White Elephant 5K/10K/Half Marathon in Atlanta is a holiday-themed running event held on 12/12/2026 from New Realm Brewing and along the Atlanta BeltLine. The event is inspired by the White Elephant gift-swapping tradition and includes an element of surprise in race apparel and awards. Distances offered: - 5K in person - 10K in person - Half Marathon (13.1 miles) in person - Virtual 5K - Virtual 10K - Virtual Half Marathon Athletes select shirt size at registration but receive a surprise race shirt and a finisher medal from a previous event after finishing, packaged White Elephant style. Virtual participants may run at their chosen time and place, submit a time, and receive a mailed shirt or card. Registration opens 7/24/2026 and closes 8/7/2026.
Published registration fees are $25 for the 5K, $30 for the 10K, $45 for the half marathon, and $25 for each virtual distance. Performance awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups, beginning with 10 and under and continuing through older age groups.
