White Elephant 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Atlanta
The White Elephant Run is a holiday-themed road event on the Atlanta BeltLine that offers three in-person distances and a virtual option. The event includes a playful White Elephant reveal: athletes choose a preferred shirt size at registration, but the actual race shirt is a surprise and is delivered after the finish as part of a bundled White Elephant-style reveal that also includes a finisher medal from a previous event.
Distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The in-person course starts from New Realm Brewing and follows sections of the Atlanta BeltLine. Early packet pickup is scheduled the day before at New Realm Brewing ATL (550 Somerset Terrace NE #101, Atlanta, GA 30306). Self-serve water stations are placed at approximately every 1.5 miles; participants wanting uninterrupted running are encouraged to bring personal hydration.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups, beginning with 10 & under and continuing through the oldest groups. A virtual race option allows participants to run anywhere, submit results online, and be eligible for awards; virtual results are posted after the event date.
Registration fees vary by period. Early bird, regular, late, and race-day prices are listed for each distance, and a virtual race fee is offered. Team and fundraising options are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
