White Elephant 5K/10K - Clearwater
This is a holiday themed running event built around the White Elephant gift-swapping tradition. Athletes select a shirt size at registration, but the actual race shirt and finisher medal are wrapped and revealed after the race as a surprise bundle composed of items from previous events.

The course goes around Lake Hollingsworth and is mostly flat. Self-serve water stations will be available at approximately every 1.5 miles; participants who prefer not to stop may bring personal hydration. Half marathon participants must meet a 16 minute per mile pace requirement.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups beginning with 10 and under and continuing through older age groups.
The event lists Florida Giant Dog Rescue as the 2026 charity partner. The organization focuses on rescuing and re-homing large dogs, supporting relationships with community shelters and other rescues, and maintaining spay and neuter programs to reduce overpopulation.
A virtual race option is provided for participants who cannot attend in person; virtual entrants can run at a location of their choice, submit results online, and view results the Monday after the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
