Whiskey Run Rome
The Whiskey Run Rome is a multi-distance running event held in Rome, Georgia. Part of a regional series spanning the Southeast, this event connects runners through established routes in the local area. The race is produced by Run Rhino, a Chattanooga-based organization responsible for various regional events such as the 7 Bridges Marathon and the Southeastern Santa Hustle Race Series.
The event features three primary distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
Participants follow routes that begin and end near central landmarks. The event base is located at La Scala Mediterranean Bistro on Broad Street. Following the conclusion of the races, the event includes an after-party held in partnership with 411 Broad. This post-race gathering features musical entertainment along with whiskey samples and local food pairings. The race is open to a range of participants, from experienced runners to those interested in more casual participation.
