The Great Locomotive Chase 5K Run/Walk

The course winds through and around downtown Adairsville and follows the railroad tracks associated with the historical Great Locomotive Chase. The start and finish are adjacent to the historic downtown Adairsville Train Depot. Event proceeds benefit Cancer Navigators.
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race at Adairsville City Hall. Awards are presented for the top three overall male and female finishers and the top master male and female. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the following divisions: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & over.
