Cedar Valley Arts Festival 5K & 10K : Cedartown, GA
The Cedar Valley Arts Festival 5K and 10K are road races held in Peek Park at 607 N. College Street in downtown Cedartown, Georgia, on April 25, 2026. The courses follow paved public roads that are closed for the event and run along a private lake and a historic route through downtown. The route is described by the organizer as flat and fast.

Both distances are USATF certified Peachtree qualifiers (5K USATF Certification GA13100WC; 10K USATF Certification GA19004WC). Proceeds from the races benefit the Cedartown Junior Service League endorsed projects and local high school scholarships, including for Cedartown and Rockmart High Schools. Wheelchair athletes may choose either distance and have a separate start.
Awards include engraved medallions for the top three overall female and male finishers and for top overall masters female and male, with age-group medals for the top three in standard age categories from 10 and under through 75 and over. Parking will be limited in Peek Park and is not available on the course; most participants find parking along the sides of N. College Street. Pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race next to the finish line in Peek Park. The event is held rain or shine and, given its charitable nature, refunds are not available.
