Wharfedale Trail Half Marathon
The Wharfedale Trail Half Marathon is a trail running event located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The race covers a distance of 13.2 miles and is fully flagged throughout the entire course. Participants navigate well-established footpaths, including sections of the Dalesway and Mastiles Lane.
The route features over 2,000 feet of total ascent. Runners pass through scenic locations such as Scott Gate, Mastiles, and Boss Moor. The event is organized according to the rules of UK Athletics and the Trail Runners Association.
The race starts and finishes at the Wharfedale Rugby Club (WRUFC) in Threshfield, situated near Skipton. For timing and results, the event utilizes the SPORTident system. Both race numbers and timing cards are distributed to participants on the day of the event.

Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter. The event offers over £800 in total prizes, which include rewards for course records. All competitors receive a specially designed event memento and have the opportunity to win various spot prizes.
