Punk Panther Nidderdale Way
Punk Panther Nidderdale Way is a trail event on the Nidderdale Way in North Yorkshire. The full route is a 55 mile loop in an area of outstanding natural beauty and passes Ripley Castle, Brimham Rocks, Scar House Reservoir and How Stean Gorge.

Minimum age is 18. Maximum entrants are 200 and entries are open between 18 August 2025 and 11 October 2026. At the time of listing there were 74 participants entered. Registration takes place at Pateley Bridge Cricket Club, Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire HG3 5HQ. Public car parks are available close to registration.
All entrants receive a tracker which must be carried and remains active for live tracking and emergency alerts. Provisional GPX files and a route description are provided in advance and final instructions are emailed to competitors. The route is not taped as it mainly follows the waymarked Nidderdale Way.
Checkpoints on the route include Lofthouse, Middlesmoor, Wath, Pateley Bridge, Birstwith and Brimham Hall. Each checkpoint supplies water, coke, energy bars and crisps and a box for vegan and gluten free runners. Dogs are permitted subject to event rules. Safety support runners and buddy runners are allowed under the organiser's guidance.
A mandatory kit list applies to all distances and includes a suitable bag, waterproof jacket with taped seams, fluids, cup, nutrition, survival or bivvy bag, whistle, mobile phone with the event contact number, the supplied tracker, hat or buff, gloves, personal first aid kit, a hard copy map or route description and a head torch. Random kit checks may be carried out on course; failure to carry required kit can lead to disqualification.
Every finisher receives a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out. Homemade hot food, vegan and gluten free options, hot drinks and snacks are available at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
