Ilkley Half Marathon and 5k
The Ilkley Half Marathon and 5k take place on 12th July 2026 in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. The half marathon is a 13.1 mile road race that runs through the countryside and scenery of the Yorkshire Dales, including hilly sections and valleys.
The event is described as clearly marked and well supported, with water stations and medical support available along the course. Organisers report fields of 2000+ runners for each race. Published entry prices are £38 for the half marathon and £20 for the 5k.
An event village accompanies the races and includes street food, live music and family friendly entertainment. The 5k was introduced for the first time in 2025 and is scheduled again in 2026. Local partners provide runner prizes and a retail partner has offered discount arrangements for past entrants; a community coaching and apparel partner is named as working to increase female participation.
