Ilkley Half Marathon

The Ilkley Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile road race in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. The course passes through the Yorkshire Dales and includes hills and valleys with scenic views along the route.

The route is clearly marked and supported with water stations and medical cover. An event village runs alongside the race with street food, live music and family friendly entertainment. Organisers introduced a 5 km race in 2025 and the programme includes both distances for 2026.

The 2026 event is scheduled for 12 July 2026 in Ilkley. The organisers list an expected field of more than 2000 runners and ticket prices for 2026 are shown as £38 for the half marathon and £20 for the 5 km. Local partners provide runner prizes and discounts and there has been activity to increase female participation.
