Westport Island Shore Run 10K Road Race
The 21st Annual Westport Island Shore Run 10K Road Race is scheduled for August 16, 2026 at the Old Town Hall, 181 Main Road (Route 144) on bridge-accessible Westport Island, Maine. The event includes both a road race and a recreational walk.

- 3.5 mile Fun Walk
The 10K uses a USATF certified course that runs along the Main Road and West Shore Road through pine and fir forests. The route crosses two causeways spanning inlets to Heal Cove and Montsweag Bay, includes rolling hills and a long climb from the final causeway, and finishes at the Old Town Hall. The 3.5 mile Fun Walk follows Main Road and turns onto Post Office Road.
Online and race day registration are offered. Online registration fees and deadlines are published for the 10K and the Fun Walk, and participant shirts are guaranteed for online registrations received by July 30, 2026 at 5 p.m. On site parking is available at the Old Town Hall.
The event is computer timed by 5K Sports Management and includes mile markers, two water stations at Mile 2 and Mile 4, post event refreshments, a post race raffle, and medals for top finishers and age categories.
