Event Overview
The George Dole Bath Rotary 4-Way 5K / 10K is the 12th annual running of this event. It offers two distances: a 5K walk/run and a 10K run. The event will be held in Bath, Maine. All proceeds benefit the non-profits Girls on the Run Maine and the Rotary Club of Bath's Community Service Fund, which supports local youth initiatives.
Course and Logistics
The event is professionally timed. The start and finish are at Morse High School, located at 826 Shipbuilder Dr. in Bath. The course features some slightly rolling hills. A course map is available to view online.
Registration and bib/t-shirt pick-up is only available on race day from 7:30-8:30 a.m. in the Morse High School parking lot. Runner packets not picked up by the start time are forfeited unless prior arrangements are made.
Entry Fees and Awards
The standard preregistration fee for adults is $35, increasing to $40 on race day. Reduced fees apply for students aged 12-17, and participants 11 years and younger are free (without a race shirt). A $5 discount is offered to all mothers for the Mother's Day weekend.
Prize money is awarded to the top two overall adult finishers ($50 for 1st place, $25 for 2nd place). Ribbon awards are given for other age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
