George Dole Bath Rotary 4-Way 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run
The event is a community running event held on 05/09/2026 at Morse High School, 826 Shipbuilder Dr., Bath, ME. It features a 5K run/walk and a 10K run on a course with some slightly rolling hills. The race will be professionally timed and both the start and finish are at Morse High School.
Proceeds benefit Girls on the Run Maine and the Rotary Club of Bath Community Service Fund, which supports local youth initiatives including swimming lessons, literacy programs, food insecurity efforts, leadership training, and scholarships. Girls on the Run Maine uses an experience-based curriculum to encourage girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident.
Entry fees vary by age and registration timing: preregistration adult fee $35, race day adult fee $40, students 12 to 17 preregistration $20 or $25 on race day, and students and children 11 years and younger are free without a race shirt. To reserve a race shirt registration must be completed prior to April 22, 2026. Distribution of shirts and bibs is available only on the day of the event; packet pickup is scheduled in the Morse High School parking lot from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
Awards include cash prizes for first and second overall adult male and female and ribbon awards for other age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
