Westonbirt Arboretum Half Marathon and 10km
The event programme at Westonbirt Arboretum includes multiple running distances across 2026 winter and summer dates. The venue is the National Arboretum, home to over 2,500 tree species and five national collections; routes pass through areas dedicated to specific species.

Routes are mostly on solid stone forest paths and are largely very flat with only a few small rises. Runners are started in waves of about 150 to provide space on the course; entrants may select a wave when registering. The 5 km has no drinks stations, the 10 km has one feast station and the Half Marathon has three feast stations offering water, electrolyte and a mix of food including gluten free, dairy free and vegan options.
Equipment and access notes state that the night 10 km and 5 km require a head torch or chest torch. Buggy runners are permitted; canicross is not allowed. Minimum ages are 17 for the Half Marathon, 14 for the 10 km and 12 for the 5 km; there is no minimum age for the fun run.
All finishers of 5 km and longer distances receive a 10 cm x 10 cm two sided event medal; February and September races have different medal designs. Facilities on site include toilets, a bag drop and places to eat; there are no changing rooms. Group entry discounts and prize categories are detailed by event organiser.
