Berkeley 10k
The Berkeley 10k is a 10 km road race scheduled for 12 April 2026 at SGS Berkeley Green UTC in Berkeley. The route goes out to Berkeley, includes two laps of the town, and returns along quiet, flat country lanes. Surfaces are road and footpath and the profile is predominantly flat.
Distance markers are provided every 1 km and chip timing is used; official results are determined on gun time while chip to chip times are also available. The course and race headquarters are accessible for wheelchair users. Athletes with disabilities are included in the general classification provided there is no significant benefit, and blind runners with guides are accepted.
Water stations are provided, including at 5 km. The course is not traffic free and light traffic may be present on lanes; conventional listening devices are not permitted except for bone conducting devices. Toilets are available near the start. Changing facilities and bag storage are not available, but there is space for club tents and a large car park at the venue.
Entry is online only until the closing date, with a possible on the day option if places remain. The minimum age on race day is 15. Entry fees are £17 for affiliated runners and £19 for unaffiliated runners. Cash prizes are offered for top finishers and age categories, with team prizes also available. A bottled drink is provided to all finishers. The event field is limited to 400 places and there are no medals, t shirts or other mementoes.
