Berkeley 10k 2026
The event is a road and footpath race of 10 km held on 12 April 2026 at SGS Berkeley Green UTC, Gloucestershire Science and Technology Park, Berkeley GL13 9PA. The course goes out to Berkeley, includes two laps through the town, and returns along predominantly flat, quiet country lanes.
The course is described as predominantly flat and is accessible for wheelchair users. The route is not traffic free and may have light traffic on lanes. Distance markers appear every 1K and there is a water station at 5 km. Timing is chip timed.
Facilities noted include toilets and a large car park provided by SGS and Vital Energi. There is no formal bag storage, but the start is near the car park. There are no changing facilities, though space is available for club tents. All finishers receive a bottled drink; there are no medals, t shirts, or other mementoes. A proportion of race proceeds after expenses goes to the event’s nominated club charities.
Prizes include cash awards for the first three men and first three women, age category prizes in five year intervals, and team prizes for best team of four men and best team of three women. Entry is online only until the closing date; minimum age on race day is 15. Entry fees and on the day availability are set by the organiser.
