Western Invasion
The Western Invasion takes place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Sam Houston Trail Park, 101 I-635, Irving, TX 75038. The event offers multiple race options and a Kid's Dash. The half-marathon course is run as four laps and the 10K course as two laps; a 5K course is also provided.

Registration, awards and other details
Entry fees listed for this event include $65 for the half-marathon, $42 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, $18 for the 1 mile, $0 for the Kid's Dash, and $40 for the virtual option. Prices for several in-person events increase after December 31, 2025. Registration deadlines for some events end on March 22, 2026, and participants who register by March 1 are guaranteed a t-shirt size.
Finisher medals are provided for the 5K, 10K, half-marathon and 1 mile. Age group awards are given four deep by male and female divisions across standard age ranges; overall, masters (40+), and grand masters (60+) also receive overall medals. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. The 1 mile is an untimed event with no age group awards. The virtual option includes shipment of the shirt and medal the week of the race.
