The Western Invasion takes place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at North Lakes Park, 2001 W. Windsor Rd., Denton, TX 76207. The event offers multiple race options on the same day:

The half-marathon course is listed as four laps and the 10K course as two laps; a separate 5K course is provided.
Entries, awards and logistics
Registration for the 5K, 10K, half-marathon and 1 mile includes an event-themed participation t-shirt and a custom finisher medal; registrants are advised to register by March 1 to guarantee shirt size. Age group awards are offered for the 5K, 10K and half-marathon, with awards four deep in male and female divisions from 0-4 up to 80+. Overall and masters divisions (40+) and grand masters (60+) also receive overall medals. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped.
The Kid's Dash is a free 100–200 meter sprint; dashers may purchase a shirt or finisher medal as an add-on. The 1 mile is an untimed event with no age group awards; finishers receive medals and shirts. The virtual option includes shipping of shirt and medal the week of the race.
