Race details
The event on April 11, 2026 includes these distances:
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- 5K Trail Run
- 10K Trail Run
The 5K course is almost entirely off-road and follows the Greenbelt Trail, crosses the Elm Fork Bridge, and includes equestrian trails. The 10K adds sections that are more technical than the usual Greenbelt surface. Dogs on a leash are allowed on all courses. Strollers are not allowed because much of the course is unpaved.
All 5K and 10K participants receive a swag bag with sponsor items, an event t-shirt, a finisher medal, and finish-line refreshments. Prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups, from 14 & under through 65 & over. A packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the event at the race site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
