The Texas Big Star Half Marathon & 5K takes place on April 11, 2026, at the Collin College Frisco Campus in Frisco, Texas. The event also includes a 1-Mile Fun Run.

The race is a charity event that benefits the Frisco Chamber Foundation and the Collin College Foundation. It has raised almost $400,000.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available on multiple days before the race. Locations include NexGen Fitness in McKinney and Dallas Running Company in Plano. Race day packet pickup is also available at the event site starting at 5:30 AM.
Parking
Parking for the event is at the Career & Technical Education Center (9889 Wade Blvd) for participants arriving after 6:30 AM. This location is across Wade Blvd from the race site.
Awards and Medals
Overall top finishers in the Half Marathon receive cash prizes: $400 for 1st, $250 for 2nd, $150 for 3rd, $100 for 4th, and $75 for 5th. Age group awards are given for the top three finishers in multiple categories. All finishers of the Half Marathon and 5K receive a finisher medal. Finishers of the 1-Mile Fun Run under the age of 12 receive a Finisher’s Ribbon instead of a medal.

All registered participants receive a technical t-shirt.
