13th Annual Westbrook Strong 5K
The 13th Annual Westbrook Strong 5K takes place on July 18, 2026, at Riverbank Park in Westbrook, Maine (04092). The event is held in memory of Matthew Rairdon and supports a scholarship fund for nursing students at St. Joseph's College; the fund began awarding scholarships in 2014 and now provides two scholarships each year. This year's charitable gift recipient has not yet been determined.

Registration opens February 18, 2026. Packet pickup is scheduled over two evenings on July 16 and July 17 at BreaLu, 511 Main Street, Westbrook. The course includes a water station and a downloadable course map is available. An awards ceremony will be held in the park after the race. Matt's Mile is a short fun run in the park split into two heats: ages 1-5 and ages 6-10. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the course; Westbrook Strong dog bandanas are available for sale at packet pickup and in the park for $5, payable by Venmo or cash.
