West Yorkshire Winter League

West Yorkshire Winter League (WYWL) is a six-race cross-country series held across West Yorkshire from November to February. Each race covers about 5–6 miles on tough, hilly terrain, with a dual focus on team and individual competition. A £20 season pass provides entry to all six fixtures; entries close late Oct and day-of entry is not available.

The event uses chip timing and is open only to affiliated members of WYWL clubs (16 clubs plus guest). Venues include Baildon Runners, Dewsbury RR, Pudsey Pacers, Crossgate Harriers, Queensbury RC and Stainland Lions. Facilities are basic: toilets only; no water, changing, or showers.
